A creamy and flavorful dish with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan. It’s perfect for impressing guests or casual weeknight meals.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet, cooking until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in grated parmesan cheese and dried Italian herbs, mixing until creamy.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to simmer in the sauce for an additional 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve over pasta, rice, or alongside crusty bread.

Notes

Let chicken come to room temperature before cooking. Don’t rush the simmering process for better flavor absorption.
