A delightful dish featuring crispy chicken cutlets topped with a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper on the chicken cutlets.
  2. Coat each seasoned cutlet in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and cover with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add remaining Parmesan and let it thicken.
  5. Return the chicken cutlets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme and serve.

Notes

For a healthier option, use skinless chicken breasts, whole wheat breadcrumbs, and reduce the amount of cream by substituting half with chicken broth.
