Delicious and nutritious Protein Biscuits that make a perfect grab-and-go breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled sausage or bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced vegetables (like bell peppers or spinach)
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry mixture and cut it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese, sausage or bacon (if using), and diced vegetables until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour in the milk and mix until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
