Deliciously fluffy Quark coins made with oats, perfect for breakfast or a light snack.

Ingredients

  • 250g Quark
  • 100g oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Oil or butter for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the Quark, oats, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and a pinch of salt until thoroughly combined.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
  3. Scoop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot pan and flatten each mound gently with the back of a spoon.
  4. Cook for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the pan and let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve warm, drizzled with honey or maple syrup, and pair with fresh fruits. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
