  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until it’s browned and fully cooked. Don’t forget to drain any excess fat.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the milk and eggs, whisking until everything is well combined.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just blended.
  6. Carefully fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese, ensuring an even distribution.
  7. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
