A quick and delicious dish featuring crispy chicken and noodles coated in a savory sweet sticky sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 pcs green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toss the chicken pieces in a bowl with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and fry until golden brown and thoroughly cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, honey, and red chili flakes (if using), cooking for one more minute.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything, ensuring noodles are well-coated in the sauce.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, mixing well. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Reheat gently to maintain noodle texture.
