A comforting and effortless crockpot chicken dish featuring tender chicken and rich, tangy BBQ sauce.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour the sauce over it, ensuring the chicken is coated.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender and can be shredded easily.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can double the amount of BBQ sauce. Cook on low for juicier chicken. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen for 3 months.
