A delightful dish featuring tender chicken, sweet pineapple, and savory sauce, all made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  3. Pour the pineapple chunks and sauce mixture over the top of the chicken.
  4. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Serve the chicken with pineapple glaze over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sauce overnight. You can also add bell peppers or swap pineapple for mango.
